Today’s card was inspired by the unused die cuts I had in my stash just like In this post. I used the Watercolor Shapes and Pierced Blooms dies. This card has been in my draft file since last year so I think it’s time to share it.
Let’s talk about the three products on this card . . .
The Pierced Blooms is a fun set of flower dies, a label and bow. It’s in the 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog and it’s retiring. Right now it’s also 50% off the regular price!
This is one of my favorite sentiments from the now retired and unfortunately discontinued Lighthearted Lines stamp from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
The Watercolor Shapes is a very versatile stamp set. Here are a few ways to use it:
- Create flowers by overlapping the oval shape,
- Add a background when you want to focus on a specific image using the rectangle and big circle.
- Create a bokeh effect with the circles
- Create a corner focal point like in this card and you’ll find many more ways as you play around with it.

- A piece of white baker’s twine tied in a bow was added to the card by adhering it with a glue dot.
Gather die cuts that you didn’t use in a project and create something with it. The process will be quick because you already did the task of having to die cut – now it’s just layering them on your card as you desire. This was a quick and easy card because my flowers were cut and the rest was quick stamping.
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . .
