A Sneak Peak at 2022-2023 Catalog Stamp – Uniquely Artistic

Last week I attended a virtual event for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. Each person who signed up for the event was sent a 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and a new stamp set from the same catalog. We held a virtual swap on our Facebook group and I made 3 cards, one of which I’ll share today.

There are benefits to becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. Besides the discount to support our love of crafting, which is the reason that a lot of demonstrators sign up for, there are other benefits.

Here are a few:

  • Participating in Demonstrator only events
  • Sharing your love for the craft with others
  • Making new friends with people you would have never met
  • Viewing the new catalogs before they go live
  • Preordering a month ahead of catalog debut
  • Improving your craft skills
  • The opportunity to earn a little extra income based on your sales – if that’s something you want to do. Use what you earn to get more supplies or for whatever your needs are.

If for whatever reason, you can’t continue, you can stop at any time and there’s no penalty.

You can read more about becoming a demonstrator by clicking here. To join my team, click here where you can sign up. You get to customize your $99 Starter Kit (worth $125) with whatever products you want and there’s no shipping cost to you. Feel free to Contact me if you have any questions.

Uniquely Artistic

When Stampin’ Up! distributed the stamp sets for our participation at the On Tour event, not everyone received the same one. Four different sets were sent out and I received the Uniquely Artistic stamp. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to share a picture of the new stamp set until it goes live in May but I can share projects made with it. UPDATED: Here’s the stamp:

We’ll start with this card and in another post, I’ll share the other two.

The Uniquely Artistic stamp is a Distinktive two-step stamp with flower and leaves images only. It doesn’t have a coordinating die so the flowers and leaves on this card were cut by hand. When you see the stamp set, it may appear as though there’s not a lot you can do with it, but there is and I’ll show you what I came up with in one of the other cards I shared with the group.

Card Details

  • Card Base – Flirty Flamingo cardstock 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Sentiment from Flowering Tulips was stamped with Memento Black ink.
  • Leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzazz on three sides of cardstock. I stamped 2 more leaves, fussy cut them and adhered one on top and one on bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Top flower was colored with Stampin’ Blends – first with Dark Flirty Flamingo and blended with Light Calypso Coral. Bottom flower was colored with Light Calypso Coral and then blended with Dark Flirty Flamingo. Middle flower was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink; Flower centers were colored with Light Daffodil Delights blends.
  • Top two flowers were popped with 1 Stampin’ Dimensional and the bottom with 2 stacked dimensionals.
  • To finish the card, iridescent rhinestones were added to center of flowers and above the sentiment.

What do you think of this set just from looking at this card? I would love to hear from you – just leave me a comment.

Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . “Let today be the start of something new!
