It’s Birthday Time With Nuts & Bolts

Yes, it’s another card with Nuts & Bolts! If you’ve missed the posts with this set, click here, here and here. This is such an easy set to create with. This will be my last card with Nuts & Bolts . . . for now.

I haven’t been using vellum as much as I would like to. Truthfully, I just forget about that option, but love it when I use it. I like the way it turned out in this card. It gives it another layer and at the same time doesn’t take away from the patterned paper.

Card Details

  • Shaded Spruce cardstock used for card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • White cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Two strips at 1-1/2″ x 4″ from the Sale-A-Bration Friendly Hello DSP
  • Images were stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Pool Party & Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends
  • Two vellum circles cut from the Layering Circles dies were used under the robots. To prevent adhesive from showing through vellum, place adhesive behind the robot
  • The robots were popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Sentiment was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.
  • Sequins and iridescent jewels were adhered.

What’s one craft item you forget to use? Would love to know – just leave me a comment.

Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . .
