Sale-A-Bration’s Driving By stamp set is a cute set. Since I was using this set for my grandson’s birthday, I wanted to make a road like card. I used a combination of 3 stamps to create this card – Watercolor Shapes, Driving By and Awesome Otters. Let’s get into some of the details.
Card Details
I forgot to take the exact measurements of the different parts of the card when I gave it away, but here’s the rest of the info.
- Night of Navy cardstock was used for a slim line card base. Circles from the Watercolor Shapes were stamped with Night of Navy ink on card base.
- Two strips of Basic Black were cut for the road and a strip of Daffodil Delight for the center and adhered to the white cardstock.
- I masked the “hi” in the driving by just to say sentiment and stamped it with Memento Black ink.
- The “it’s birthday time” sentiment is from the Awesome Otters stamp.
- Cars were stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Night of Navy, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Real Red.
- The cars were fussy cut and popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
