I started this post on Sunday night ready to share a whole week of Valentine’s Day cards, but my computer’s hard drive and power adapter failed and, unfortunately, I didn’t have access to my computer till now. I’m so thankful my husband is knowledgeable about computers, that it was under extended warranty and that my files were backed up. We got what we needed and I’m back.
Valentine’s Day is 3 days away so for the next couple of days we’ll look at some cards that’s all about love.
Let’s start with the Nuts & Bolts stamp set. This set has 3 cute robot images, a heart and 4 sentiments.
This set was not on my wish list when I placed my demonstrator pre order, but the more I looked at it, I really liked it. I was planning to use it for my February class, but didn’t get it in time. It’s an adorable set.
Card Details
This card came together quickly with the Sweet Talk patterned paper as a background.
- Real Red cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- Sweet Talk DSP 4″ x 5-1/4″
- White tag is from the Sports Events dies
- Robot was stamped with Memento Black, colored with Smoky Slate and Real Red Stampin’ Blends and cut with scissors.
- Sentiment was stamped twice – one in Memento Black and another in Real Red. The word heart was cut out and popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- The robot’s heart was stamped onto Real Red, cut and popped with a dimensional.
- I added white baker’s twine and 2 red sequins from the Everything Sequins
