For almost 10 years, Stampin’ Up! has been partnering with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, an organization that provides child abuse prevention programs, access to health care, scholarships and other services. The Ronald McDonald house allows families who live far away from the medical facility to stay together while a child who is seriously sick or injured is getting medical attention. Each year, Stampin’ Up! donates $100,000 to the organization, plus a portion of the proceeds from the sale of an exclusive stamp set designed specifically to promote Stampin’ Up!’s partnership with the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The stamp sets are for children and adults. This year’s exclusive stamp set is Moving Forward and for every stamp that is sold, Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to RMHC. Both Stampin’ Up! and Ronald McDonald House’s goal is to bring comfort and creativity to their house guests while they are away from home.
In addition to the monetary donation, cards made by demonstrators at training events are donated to the RMHC in the areas where the events are held. These cards are used by the families who are staying at the houses to keep in touch with family and friends while they are away from home.
