Happy Easter!
Today’s card features the Timeless Tulips stamp and Tulips Builder Punch. You know it’s springtime when you see tulips everywhere in an array of colors.
The Timeless Tulips is a carryover to the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and is a distinktive stamp. The set has seven greetings and 3 different size tulips along with leaves and stems, and it coordinates with the Tulips Builder Punch. The greetings are a nice mix of occasions – hello, birthday, Easter, Mother’s Day, get well, and sympathy.
Card Details
Today’s card is a window trifold card. I like to incorporate different card folds in my cardmaking, but when doing so, I also want to make sure I leave enough space to write a message to the recipient. Personally, I don’t see the point in creating cards with fancy folds but with no room to write a message, do you? This card definitely meets my requirement and this fold would be perfect if you want to write a long message or have multiple people sign it.
The card is a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base scored at 4-1/4″. I die cut a window in the front by placing 2 different size ovals to create the opening and border. The white inside cardstock was cut at 8″ x 4″ and scored at 4″ and was adhered to the card base with the opening to the left. I stamped 4 tulips using the masking technique and then stamped and punched one of them with the Tulip Builder Punch and adhered it with two Stampin’ Dimensionals. I sponged the cardstock with Seaside Spray ink – my favorite retiring In Color. The flowers on the front of the card are from the Butterfly Wishes stamp and all the flowers were stamped with Blushing Bride ink and leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink.
