To A Wild Rose – Blessed To Be Your Friend

Today we’ll take a break from the 2021 January-June catalog and focus on a stamp from the Annual Catalog – To A Wild Rose using the Blessed to Be Your Friend sentiment.

To A Wild Rose - Blessed To Be Your Friend

I stamped the flowers with Rococco Rose and leaves with Pear Pizzazz. I used the dies for the flowers, leaves and label and popped the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamped an extra flower and fussy cut the middle and added it to the top flower with a dimensional.

This stamp set was introduced in the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog and coordinates with the Wild Rose Dies. It’s a Photopolymer Distinktive stamp. What does distinktive mean? They’re a photo realistic type of stamp, which means they photograph and then turn it into a realistic rubber or photopolymer stamp. They have an added texture that gives it depth and dimension and you only need to stamp it once. Stampin’ Up! first introduced the Distinktive stamps in 2018.

When using distinktive stamps, you want to make sure you have the right amount of ink. If you have too little, you won’t get all the stamp details, but if you have too much, the ink will fill in the details and you will lose the effect.

Here’s a video to demonstrate how to use the stamps effectively.
