Shark Frenzy . . . Baby Shark – Doo, Doo, Doo, Doo, Doo, Doo

Since I have grandsons and we used to sing the Baby Shark song all the time, I had to get the Shark Frenzy stamp.

One of my grandsons just turned 4 yesterday and I decided to make him a shaker card with this stamp. Since his favorite color is dark purple, I stamped purple sharks and the Artistry Blooms DSP was perfect for my background. I used one of the sheets from this paper pack in yesterday’s post and mentioned how much I love this paper because of its colors and now you can see why.

The Shark Frenzy stamp comes with 14 images and 8 greetings. The coordinating Shark Dies come with 16 dies and has a die for waves, the curvy strip on my card, bubbles, dies for the the sharks, plants, bow, tie, hat, cane, purse and more – everything to make an underwater scene and a Daddy, Mommy, Grandpa, Grandma and Baby Shark plus clothing accessories.

Card Details

After I assembled the card, I decided I wanted the sharks to look shiny so I applied some fine tip glue on them and left them on my desk overnight.

When I went to check the next morning the glue had changed the purple to a lighter shade of purple. That color was not going to work so I saved it for another card and stamped a new purple one.

I forgot to jot down the supplies & measurements of this card before I gave it away so I I’ll go by the picture for the details.

  • Card base – Gorgeous Grape 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • Artistry Blooms DSP 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Stamped Doo, Doo, Doo . . . with Memento Black on the DSP
  • Underwater plants were die cut with Garden Green cardstock
  • I stamped the Happy, Happy Birthday from the stamp “From All of Us”. Because the greeting is all one image, I masked each happy and birthday with a post it note and then stamped.
  • The Playful Alphabet Dies were used for the number 4 and I die cut three of them and stacked them so they could stand out.
  • The bubbles around the greeting were stamped with Gorgeous Grape, Night of Navy and Granny Apple Green ink
  • I used the largest Stitched Rectangle Die for the frame
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to raise the stitched frame
  • Instead of placing the sharks inside with the sequins, I adhered them on top of the window sheets with tear and tape.
  • Whale of a Time sequins were used.

Noticed the shark’s tie? Cute, right? I’m so glad I have 6 grandkids so I can make more children’s cards because they’re fun to make.

Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time. . .
