Timeless Tropical is a cheery summer theme stamp with images of hibiscus and plumeria flowers, pineapple, palm trees and 5 various sentiments.
I think the plumeria flower is so pretty. If you live in Hawaii or some other tropical paradise, lucky you! I love the Hawaiian leis made out of these beautiful flowers that symbolize charm, grace and beauty. I still have some work to do in getting them to look like this real one.
And here’s a real hibiscus – another beauty!
I fussy cut the flowers in this card since I don’t have the dies, but the images were easy to trim. If you don’t like to cut by hand, I have good news for you – In The Tropics Dies coordinates with this stamp set. Not only can you die cut these flowers, but it also has a big pineapple as well as the one that die cuts the stamped pineapple image. There’s even a die to cut the word Aloha. Would make a great scrapbook page, don’t you think?
For the sentiment, I stamped it on one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and layered it. Using my aqua painter, I gave my background a quick wash. This card was not inspired by my photographs, but after seeing these photographs again, I think I’m going to make one based on these colors and see how it turns out.
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie
