Fresh Fruit is such a versatile stamp. Use it all year long to make birthday cards, thank you, encouragement, Valentine’s or any other love occasion, attach it to baked goods, make recipe cards out of it. As you can see, there are many possibilities.
For this card, I used the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and added color by sponging. Here’s my thought process on this card. When I was designing this card, the centers of the flowers were not black and I had a different color cardstock for the sentiment, but it just seemed to bland for me . . . there was no pop anywhere so I decided to go with the black cardstock and emboss it with white embossing powder. Now the flowers needed something and I didn’t want to put the enamel shapes in the middle so I stamped it with black ink. I like the contrast of the dark with bright colors. What do you think? Do you like it or is it too much?Leave me a comment below.
