This card is so simple yet makes an impact. The Live Love Grow stamp was used to make this friend card.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play with this stamp set too much. I got it late and just ran out of time, but I’m looking forward to playing with it some more, even though it’s retiring. I die cut the cardstock from the Lots of Labels framelits by placing the framelit below the top curvy part so it just has a curvy bottom and stamped the image on it. Succulents are popular right now, and although I like these plant images, what drew me to the set was the font on the sentiments. They’re so sweet – not overpowering. I love bold lettering on sentiments but I also like this type of font – it gives it a sweetness to the card.
I consider myself to have a green thumb and my garden thrives with pretty flowers when the rabbits are not eating them. Years ago, I had several succulents inside the house and yet I couldn’t seem to keep them alive. I’m thinking I watered them too much. One of my favorite succulents is like the one I stamped on this card with the flower – I don’t know the name of it. Do you? I think I need to try growing these type of plants again now that I’m a little wiser.
