Rooted In Nature

I retired from my everyday job a couple of years ago, and imagined myself having lots of time to stamp and travel and do whatever I want to and when I want to but it seems I’m busier now than ever! I used to hear other retirees say the same thing but couldn’t believe it. How can that be? Doesn’t seem possible, but it is. Can anyone relate? I had several posts in draft mode before the last catalog was gone but never got a chance to post them. So we move on…

Rooted In Nature

Today’s post features the Rooted In Nature stamp and Nature’s Roots Framelits. When I saw this set I told myself I didn’t need to get it because I have the Lovely As A Tree stamp set but the wood slice in the Rooted in Nature set just kept calling me. This set also has some nice big sentiments and coordinating framelits that emboss and cut. As I play with it more, I really like it. The Rooted In Nature set is a nice companion to Lovely as a Tree. The ladies who attended my recent class got a chance to make this card and loved it. Do you see that foil leaf peaking on the left? It was die cut it and embossed – love it!
