Another Mother’s Day Card

Here’s my last Mother’s Day card. I made this one for my sisters.  You’re probably wondering why I didn’t post these last week . . . that’s because one of my sisters visits my blog and she would see it ahead of time!  Don’t need a Mother’s Day sentiment? Change it to make it any occasion.

Did you notice it’s the Field Flowers Stamp set again – LOVE this stamp set!  See more cards with this set here, here, here and here.  I sponged with Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride (2 returning in- colors from 2010-12!) So Saffron (blended with Pear Pizzazz)  and Wisteria Wonder, and then I embossed flowers with Black Embossing Powder.  I used the Oval Framelits for my frame using the Reverse Masking Technique.

Here’s how you do it . . . Cut out a shape – oval, circle, anything you want on copy paper.  Place the copy paper with the cut out shape on top of the cardstock you will be using for your image.  This protects all the white space around it and the copy paper lets you see through.  Sponge within the shaped section, then stamp your image. Now it’s your turn to try. Let me know how you do.

Till next time . . . have a blessed day.
