Flowing Flowers & Daisy Garden, Sending Card Over Text

I love daisies and I think the Daisy Garden is a pretty background stamp. If you love to color, then you’ll love this set. If you’re not a fan of coloring, you can use this stamp in various ways.

Although there are more ways than listed below, here are a few suggestions if you don’t like to color or don’t have the time to do it.

  • Tone on Tone – stamp the image with the same color ink as your cardstock.
  • Apply color to a watercolor or shimmery cardstock with a water painter and then stamp your image.
  • Add color to a few of the flowers using the reverse spotlighting technique.
  • Stamp one or two blooms and make that your focus.

Card Details

I chose to color with a blender pen. I put a few drops of refill ink colors on a clear block and colored the flowers.

  • Card base – thick basic white cardstock cut at 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″
  • Basic White cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Daisy image stamped with Memento Black ink
  • The daisies were colored with Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green, Blushing Bride and Mango Melody refill inks using a blender pen
  • Polished Pink open weave ribbon 4-1/2″ with ends glued to the back of cardstock
  • A small daisy from the Daisy Lane set was stamped off with Polished Pink ink and stamped onto white cardstock
  • The sentiment was stamped with Memento Black ink over the small daisy and punched with the Tailor Tag Punch. The sentiment is from the Flowing Flowers set – isn’t it great? I would definitely prefer to get a card instead of a text.
  • Punched cardstock was mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
