Today’s card features two carry over stamps in the 2021- 2022 Annual Catalog – Tasteful Touches and Timeless Tropical and one new product – the Tailor Made Dies.
I love how this card turned out. I used colors that I don’t normally use like Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry. We have 50 colors to choose from (not counting the basics – Very Vanilla, Basic White and Basic Black), but somehow we gravitate to the same colors, right? I noticed that I don’t use the Regals collection much, except at Christmas time and when making masculine cards. Other than that, I tend to get drawn toward brighter colors. I’m trying to change that so I’m on a mission to explore as many color combos as I can.
The Timeless Touches is a pretty set with many different elements that lends itself to easily create collages. It does not have a coordinating die, but fussy cutting the flower is not a big deal.
Card Details
- Card base is a 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″.
- Flowers were stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink and then I used the Rich Razzleberry watercolor pencil to color inside the flower. The center was colored with a Daffodil Delight watercolor pencil.
- The leaves in the background were stamped with Evening Evergreen and the image behind the flowers was stamped with Sahara Sand ink.
- I stamped the sentiment onto a Blackberry Bliss Tailor Made Tag with VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder.
- The flowers were fussy cut and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The tag was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I threaded a piece of Bumble Bee gingham ribbon through the tag hole and then tied it with linen thread.
The Tailor Made Tags is a stand alone die set consisting of 10 dies – 4 different sizes. It has 2 different shapes on the top of the dies – the angled look on one set and the other set of 4 has an ornate top. There are also two different dies for the hole openings. The tags are stitched – love the look. I would recommend this die set.
