Dandy Wishes Dies & Swirly Frames

Welcome back! Today’s card features the Dandy Wishes Dies and Swirly Frames.

The Dandy Wishes Dies is part of the Dandy Garden Suite Collection and is also part of a bundle with the Garden Wishes stamp. In yesterday’s post I used the Dragonfly Garden stamp but today I’m focusing on dies.

The coordinating stamp to the Dandy Wishes dies is nice, but what I like about these dies, is that they can stand alone without having to use the coordinating stamp. I also like that they look a bit whimsical. There are 14 dies that come in the Dandy Wishes set (see supplies below).

Card Details

  • Used blending brush to apply ink to white cardstock using Balmy Blue ink
  • Stamped the Swirly Frame in Misty Moonlight
  • Used blending brush to ink up flower die cuts with Magenta Madness & Daffodil Delight
  • Flower layers were mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Adhered about 1-1/2″ piece of Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper over flower stems
  • Tied Mossy Meadow trim
  • Stamped sentiment from the Butterfly Wishes stamp with Misty Moonlight ink onto a stitched oval shape die
  • Stamped cardstock was mounted with dimensionals to card base
  • Added 2 wonderful gems (from 2020 August – December Catalog)

There are times when we see a stamp & die bundle but prefer one and probably not crazy about the coordinating item. That’s okay, you don’t need to get the bundle, just make sure that the dies can stand alone so you’ll be able to use them in various ways.
