Beautiful Friendship Birthday

Flowers, flowers, flowers – I absolutely love this card! I love everything about it – the colors, the stamp set, the stitched shapes dies and the polka dot tulle ribbon. I embossed the greeting with gold embossing powder and then sponged it. Not only do I love this card but it was a quick card. There was no coloring, just ink and stamp and a quick embossing of the greeting. You could make some beautiful cards with this set. It has four greetings and different types of flowers.

What caught my attention when I first saw this set, was the suggested hydrangea image and the fern. Although this stamp has been around, I just got it. I was trying to convince myself I didn’t need another flower stamp but I’m so glad I did.

When you look at a catalog, how do you decide which stamps to purchase? Every time I get a new catalog, I go through it and make a list of the stamps that are a must have and those that are a maybe. Sometimes my maybe stamps move up to a must have when I keep going back to that stamp and wanting it. That’s what happened with the Beautiful Friendship set.
