Hello Crafty Friends!
Father’s Day is right around the corner, being celebrated this year on June 21, so for the next couple of days, I’m going to focus on some cards for men.
Today I’ll be sharing 3 cards featuring the stamp set – A Good Man. This is an excellent set for those men in your life. I find two of the images from the set so tender and sweet – one has a boy sitting on the man’s shoulder and the other has a man holding a girl. It has 8 sentiments and 4 images and it’s a carry over from last year’s catalog.
For the first card, I used a couple of embossing folders – Pinewood Plank and Subtle Folders. The spots on the blue section happened by accident – originally not intended to be there. A drop of water accidentally fell on the card so I decided to add a couple of more drops and that’s how that came to be. No point in starting all over since I had already embossed and sponged. Besides it gives it a little character, don’t you think?
For my second card, I went with a more cleaner look. Love this layout.
My 3rd card has the father & boy image again but a different layout and sentiment. I used the stitched rectangle dies and stitched shapes dies. For the background I used the Buffalo Check stamp.
Aren’t these all great sentiments and images?
