Today’s card is all about love, made especially for a wedding anniversary. I know you probably want to see some Fall and Christmas cards with products from the Holiday Catalog, and I promise I will do so very soon. I’ve been away on vacation so I’m catching up on home stuff while getting ready for classes and workshops as well.

I love the way this card turned out. I knew I wanted a Bermuda Bay card base and had an idea in my head of what the end product should look like, but it sure gave me some trouble getting it on paper. At first I stamped one of the layers with the stripes and left the other blank, but it just didn’t look right to me. It wasn’t until I stamped both cardstock layers with the stripes that it came together. I love the pop of color with the red heart.

I used Timeless Texture for the background on the soft sky cardstock stamped with So Saffron ink and Awesomely Artistic flower cluster with Versa Mark
Work of Art stripes for the smaller card layers stamped in So Saffron ink
stamped circles from the Swirly Bird stamp on the ‘Love’ die cut before I ran through Big Shot
Tied gold metallic thread around layers
Red heart is a die cut from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits
Metallic silver heart – love these!
