Starting June 1 when Stampin’ Up!’s 2012-13 catalog becomes live, the firm foam ink pad will be introduced which will be sure to bring you more stamping enjoyment. The new firm foam ink pad will allow you to have more ink coverage for your images than the felt pads.
As a demonstrator, I get to pre-order supplies before the catalog becomes available to everyone – (one of the perks of being a demonstrator!), so I was able to order the new ink pads and test them out. I found that with the new ink pad you don’t have to press down as much–a light tap is all you need because the pad is juicier than the retiring felt ones.
Five colors have undergone formula changes in order to improve color stability with the new firm foam ink pads–Basic Black, Basic Gray, Perfect Plum, Marina Mist, and Tempting Turquoise.
