Stampin’ Up! NEW Stampin’ Trimmer Review

Don’t you wish you could cut or score a 12″ x 12″ cardstock without having to remove the blades so you can cut all the way down?

Don’t you wish you did not have to extend your ruler so you can cut a regular sized card?

Don’t you wish you had storage in your trimmer so you can store extra blades or even your bone folder so you have them when you need them?

Your wish has come true . . .  let me introduce you to the NEW Stampin’ Trimmer from Stampin’ Up.  I got mine yesterday and absolutely LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!  Here’s why I love it:

  1. The trimmer has an extra long 12″ cutting and scoring track with space at the top and bottom so you don’t have to remove your blades.
  2. An extra wide 6-1/4″ cutting base and an extended 14-1/2″ ruler
  3. All rulers and measurements on the base are covered under plastic so numbers won’t wear off
  4. The storage compartment under cutting base has a clear cover with individual tray compartments.
  5. The cutting track locks in place for secure storage and transport.
  6. The track includes an insertion point so you can easily insert the scoring and cutting blades into the cutting track.
  7. The base has non-skid feet to keep the trimmer secure
  8. Handles come in two colors – dark for cutting and light for scoring
  9. The cutting base and track have a full ruler that has measurements down to 1/16″ with 1/4″ grid marks
  10. Specially designed handles and cutting track for straight cuts.
  11. The point on each side of the handle shows you where the blade will cut so you can see exactly where the cutting and scoring will begin.
  12. The extended cutting arm has a stabilizing leg that provides a sturdy cutting surface for longer cuts.
