Friendships Are Sweet

Having friends in your life is a blessing and I have been blessed!  I have made many friends throughout the years–in school, church and even met some wonderful ladies that I would have never met if I wasn’t a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  How did I meet them? They found me through my website!  But even among my special friends there’s always a friend that you’re closest to and can spend hours just talking and you know they will always be there for you.

One of my favorite friendship sayings can be found in one of our retiring stamps, “God’s Blessings” which I used in this frameable 5×7 piece.  Isn’t it a nice saying?  Why not send a card to that special friend in your life who needs encouragement or simply to say how much you appreciate them?

Did you notice the shiny background and wondered how it was done?  That’s made with the faux mother of pearl technique. I love that look!   I also used the mat pack and piercer to make holes all around the card to give it a stitched look.  I will miss my mat pack and piercer which will be retiring soon.

Don’t forget to check out the soon-to-be retiring God’s Blessings stamp set – it has many other great sayings especially for the inside of your card or you can simply stamp the saying and frame it.
