Delicate Details

Delicate Details Birthday

Today is my mom’s 78th birthday and this is the card I made for her. Unfortunately she’s in the hospital right now so I wanted to make something cheerful yet soft. She loves lace and what better stamp to use than the Delicate Details from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I wanted something dainty so I added some lace trim and one of the Falling In Love …

Flower Shop - PPA295-Color-Challenge-&-SSINK-Card-Sketch

Endless Thanks Flower Shop

For today’s card, I’m playing with Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration card sketch 32 and PalsPaperArts Color Challenge 295. I like this color combo that forced me to use Cucumber Crush which  I don’t use often. The flowers in the background were stamped with Crumb Cake. Despite all her ailments …

Bridal Dress Form Pop N Cuts

I wanted to make a special card for my daughter’s bridal shower and I knew I wanted a dress so I used the Dress Form Pop N Cuts and Dress Up Framelits for the inside. I also cut a window sheet with the Ovals Framelits for the mirror.  Originally I wanted to add a picture of her and her fiance on the ‘table’ but ran out of time! The …

Looking Back at Simple Pleasures

Every once in a while, I will be ‘looking back’ at some retired Stampin’ Up! stamps I have and share with you how to combine the old with the new. Today’s stamp is Simple Pleasures.   I stamped flowers from the new Petite Petals stamp set onto the Crisp Cantaloupe card stock  and embossed it with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder for the background layer.  I wrote the words …
