There are many stamping techniques and sometimes you forget to use them. I enjoy the simplicity and results of this watercoloring technique.
How To – Watercoloring With Ink
Supplies you’ll need:
- Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
- Water Painters
- Classic Stampin’ pad(s) – color of your choice
Stamp your image in any color you like and while the ink is still wet, pull color from edges towards center using the water painter. You’ll notice the outline of the image stands out in contrast to the rest.

Happiness Abounds & Charming Sentiments
Once again, I’ve used the Happiness Abounds and Charming Sentiments sets as I did in my last post. Let me share what I like about them and why I think they’re great sets to have.
The Happiness Abounds Bundle and Hues of Happiness DSP is part of the Hues of Happiness Suite in the Annual Catalog. In addition to the bundle and the DSP, the suite also includes the Glossy Dots Assortment. The stamp comes with 8 pretty flower & leaf images and 7 sentiments that can be used for various occasions. The coordinating Happiness Blossoms dies come with 11 dies which will die cut all the flowers and leaves. In addition, it comes with a trellis-style die and two pretty border dies.
The Charming Sentiments comes with 17 sentiments and the coordinating Silhouette Sentiments dies not only come with dies to cut each sentiment but also includes 12 decorative dies like stars, hearts, birthday candles, etc. – 30 dies in total.
