June is almost gone and that means there’s not much time for the Kits Collection BOGO 50% off promotion which ends on June 30. In case you haven’t heard, when you buy one kit you can choose a second kit for half price.
How do you know if you like kits? Here are a couple of questions to ask yourself.
Do you like . . .
- all the supplies cut out for you?
- preprinted cards?
- stickers?
- coordinating envelopes?
- exclusive stamps?
- provided ink and adhesive?
- provided embellishments?
- step by step instructions?
- quick and easy to make?
- easy to carry with you?
- Are you a new crafter with limited supplies or time?
If you answered yes to most of these questions, then kits are for you! You either love them, think they’re ok or not like them at all. I have customers in all 3 categories. There are several kits to choose from the Kits Collection. You will find card kits, crafting kits or Memory Notebook kit.
Another type of kit offered is the Paper Pumpkin – a subscription kit.
To be honest, kits didn’t always get my attention, mostly because I like to stamp more than the kits call for. However, there are some Paper Pumpkin kits I really like.
The March kit which coordinated with the On the Horizon suite came in handy for quick and nice masculine Father’s Day cards. I used the sentiments from retired sets.
Paper Pumpkin
There are several options to choose from the Paper Pumpkin subscription plans.
- month to month subscription plan which you can suspend or cancel anytime.
- 1 month prepaid subscription plan
- 3 month prepaid subscription plan
- 6 month prepaid subscription plan – save $5 a month
- 12 month prepaid subscription plan – save $20 vs. month to month
If you’re a first time subscriber, you will receive a clear block to use with your kit and any future Paper Pumpkin kits you purchase.
I thought this month’s kit – Pick of the Crop was a nice one. It was quick to assemble and not only did it come with enough supplies to make 9 cards but came with a mini canvas bag to decorate.
With all the kits, you can make alternate projects with the materials provided or coordinate it with materials you already have. Because there’s a stamp included in each kit, you can continue using it on future projects.
