Flowing Flowers again? Yes! As I mentioned in my last post, this is one of my favorite sets from the 2022 January – June catalog. In that post, I used the set with the same sentiment but a different flower image.
I love the simplicity of this card and how it turned out.
Card Details
- Card base – thick white cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- White cardstock (5-1/2″ x 4″) embossed with two different embossing folders – Timeworn 3D & Bark 3D – I used two pieces of cardstock and embossed it with each folder then cut it diagonally.
- The scallop die cut is from the Scalloped Contours dies
- Using sponge daubers, the top flower was sponged with Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green inks and the other two flowers were sponged only with Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight. Before I stamped it, I huffed on the stamp to moisten it.
- Sentiment was stamped with Memento Black ink
- 4″ Metallic Mesh ribbon was placed on back of scalloped card stock.
- Scalloped card stock adhered to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- To finish the card, a piece of silver elegant trim tied in a bow was added to the corner and three elegant gems were added to the flowers
Which of the two Flowing Flowers cards do you like best – today’s or the one from the last post? Leave me a comment and let me know.
