Today’s card features several new products. Two of them, the Gingham 3D Embossing Folder and Sweet Conversations stamp are from the 2022 January – June Catalog. The Here Together stamp set and the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends Collection is a special promotion going on right now.
I like to color with my Stampin’ Blends but as I look at this card, I realize the hands are a bit splotchy. I’m still trying to perfect the technique. How are you with coloring?
Card Details
- Real Red card base 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″. Basic Black card layer 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- Small hearts were stamped with Memento Black ink and Real Red ink. The big hearts were stamped with Real Red ink.
- After white cardstock was stamped, I embossed it with the Gingham 3D embossing folder.
- Added a strip of patterned paper from Sweet Talk (4″ x 1-1/4″) and Real Red sheer ribbon
- White cardstock die cut from the Stitched Rectangles dies. Hand was stamped with Memento Black and colored with SU 700 and dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends.
- Sentiment is from the Peekaboo Farms set stamped in Memento Black; Cardstock mounted onto Basic Black cardstock 2-3/8″ x 3-11/16″ and popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- For the inside, I created a little pop up with hearts from the Love Notes dies (retired) and stamped the sentiment from Sweet Conversations in Real Red.
- White cardstock is 4″ x 10-3/4″
Pop up cards are a little bit more work but love that they create an element of surprise for the recipient.

The Natural Tones Stampin’ blends will be available in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog but the stamp, coordinating dies and DSP are only available through May 2 or while supplies last. Right now you can get all 10 of the Stampin’ Blends in one pack. When the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog is live, you will only be able to purchase them in a 2 pack. Unlike the current Stampin’ Blends which come in a light and dark color, these blends range in natural tones. The SU 100 is the darkest marker and SU 100 is the lightest.
