Happy Tuesday!
Flowers are lovely, and so are plants. The Plentiful Plants stamp has a variety of plants to appease the plant lover.
For those who find it challenging to make masculine cards, this set can meet that challenge. Although my card was not intended to be a masculine card, it can easily be changed since I used neutral colors. Simply remove the embellishments, change the sentiment font and perhaps eliminate the macrame holder and just place the plant at the bottom with the other two. Instead of the macrame holder, you can choose to add a small shelf to place your plant and keep it at the top.
One of my favorite plants from this set is the plant on the left which I believe is a snake plant. I have a plant that was gifted to me a couple of years ago and it looks similar to that one. I’m more knowledgeable about flowers than I am about plants so if this is not a snake plant, please let me know.
Plentiful Plants Bundle & Macrame
The Plentiful Plants stamp comes with 15 photopolymer stamps – 7 sentiments and 8 images and it’s a Distinktive stamp. The coordinating Perfect Plants dies come with 14 dies made up of different pots, greenery and even a macrame holder. There is a die for each of the stamp images plus six extra dies. An example of one of the extra dies is the adorable small pot in the picture.
In addition to this bundle, the Macrame 3D embossing folder adds a nice touch to this card. I love the detail and texture of this folder.
Card Details
- Card base – Sahara Sand cardstock 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Evening Evergreen cardstock layer 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- Very Vanilla cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″ embossed about 3/4″ down leaving enough room for the sentiment
- Each of the stamped pots were stamped with Cinnamon Cider ink and the small pot was not stamped but die cut out of the same color.
- Garden Green cardstock was used for the plant in the small pot. The other two plants were stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.
- Sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink.
- Sahara Sand was used for the Macrame holder.
- To give the impression that the Macrame holder was hanging, I attached Very Vanilla baker’s twine to the hole in the holder and adhered twine ends to the back of Very Vanilla cardstock.
- I used a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals for the Macrame and bottom left pot.
- 2021-2023 In Color Jewels were used to complete the card.
