Happy Wednesday! Today I’ll be sharing with you another card using the Friends Are Like Seashells set.
Making a masculine or feminine card with this set is easy. All you need to do is change the colors and it gives it a whole different feel.
Card Details
For my masculine quick and easy card I used the following:
- Card base – thick white cardstock
- Seashell stamped in Night of Navy ink on Night of Navy cardstock
- The seashells at the bottom of the white card base were stamped off in Smoky Slate ink to give it a more subtle look.
- A strip of Granite Gray cardstock was die cut with the Basic Border dies and adhered to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The ends of two strands of baker’s twine from the Well Suited Twine Combo pack (night of navy and basic gray) was adhered to the back of the border strip.
- The die cut seashells were stamped with Gray Granite ink and embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.
- Although I could’ve used the happy birthday sentiment from the set, I chose to use the birthday greeting from the Sweet Ice Cream set because I was giving it to my son instead of a friend and because I wanted a bigger font.
Here’s another way I used this stamp, dies and embossing folder. Ironically, I used the same birthday greeting.
