Have you seen the retiring products yet? I have about 12 projects that I haven’t posted yet with retiring stamps so for the next week or two I will focus on the stamps that are retiring with some in between posts that feature non-retiring products. Today we’ll start with the Country Home stamp – a card we made at my Giving Thanks Card Class.
Card Details
Because I wanted to include the greetings, Grateful, Thankful and Blessed on this card, I used some stamps that were retired. Here’s the scoop on this card:
- Card Base – Bumble Bee 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Edges of embossed cardstock layer sponged with Bumble Bee ink. This layer was embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder.
- Jugs were stamped with Black Archival ink which is retired but Stazon can be used.
- The thankful, grateful, and blessed greetings were stamped from retired stamps (At Home With You, Good Greetings, Thoughtful Banners) with
- Jugs and flowers were colored with ink refills and water painters
- 6″ Bumble Bee gingham ribbon was tied in a bow and adhered with a glue dot
- The splatters were done by picking up some ink on the water painter and tapping it against your pointer finger
Beside the Country Home stamp, the Old World 3D Embossing Folder is also retiring. What do you think of these 2 products?
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . .
