I’m back with another card using the cute Snailed It stamp. Who doesn’t like to hear, You’ve Got Mail especially when it’s a handmade card? In yesterday’s post, I used two different images from this set.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, this would be a fun card to give a special someone in your life. The image and sentiment is one image, but you can cut off the sentiment so you can use the image or sentiment by itself. You can also mask the sentiment so you can stamp a different sentiment to meet your need.
Card Details
- Card base – Thick White cardstock (4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″)
- Daffodil Delight card layer (4″ x 5-1/4″) embossed with Painted Texture Embossing 3D Folder
- Bermuda Bay strip (2″ x 5-1/4″)
- Real Red cardstock (2-1/2″ x 3″) stamped hearts with Real Red ink
- Watercolor Paper (1-1/2″ x 2-1/4″)
- Snail Mail DSP (1″ x 4″)
- Used Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride reinkers to color the snail using the water painters
- Mounted stamped image with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- I applied a bit of the fine tip glue to the small envelope with heart
- Added a few of the resin hearts
Notice the embossing on the daffodil delight card? The painted texture 3D folder makes a great textured background–it’s a new folder from the January – June catalog.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another Valentine’s Day card.
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . .
