Hello Stampers!
It’s time to shop and dress up with the Dressed To Impress stamp set. It’s a fun, girly type of set with lipstick, perfume bottle, flower images and fun greetings.
Inspiration comes from everywhere. This card started with the stitched rectangle frame that I had stamped from another project and was on my table. Based on the colors on the frame, I designed the rest of the card using the Dressed to Impress stamp. I love shoes so why not create a shoe display similar to the ones in the stores. Using the stitched rectangle dies made it easy to do that.
Here are the details:
- on watercolor paper, I did a quick watercolor wash using the water painter with Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight inks
- I die cut 3 stitched rectangles out of colored cardstock and stamped the flowers using VersaMark ink
- the shoes were stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Stampin’ Blends and die cut with the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies
- I applied fine liquid glue on the shoes for a shiny look
- stamped greeting with Memento black ink on Whisper White cardstock and placed in frame opening
This was definitely a fun set to play with. There was a time I used to wear heels like that but now I’m more into comfort and those heels don’t look comfortable to me, but they sure look great on my shoe display. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie
