Today’s focus is on the pineapples in the Timeless Tropical stamp set.
Although there are various ways to ink up stamp images, I chose to ink up the pineapples using Stampin’ Write Markers. In case you’re not familiar with inking up your stamp with markers, all you need to do is color the bottom part of the pineapple image with the Crushed Curry marker, and the top portion with the Old Olive marker. After you’re done coloring, huff on the stamp to moisten and stamp the pineapple. Repeat for the other five pineapples. This card has a summery feel to it – it’s bright, it’s yellow, it’s cheerful and it has pineapples.
This card also has two types of embossing — The greeting was embossed with white embossing powder, trimmed with scissors and mounted using black stampin’ dimensionals. The background was embossed with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
Using my Simply Scored Scoring Tool, the middle section of the white cardstock was scored twice – above and under the greeting.
