In my last post, I mentioned that the Painted Poppies stamp is a favorite of mine and I had more cards to share with you with this set. Today I’m sharing a simple sympathy card using the Itty Bitty Greetings along with this set. Because Painted Poppies doesn’t have any greetings, you can use any other set to add your sentiment. The beauty of this set is that any type font would go well – whether bold or subtle. Wow, I can go on and on about this set, do you feel the love?
I like the simplicity of this card. The poppies blowing in the wind, the dainty lace trim and linen thread. I sponged the retired basket weave embossing folder with Pear Pizzazz ink and sponged the background with Balmy blue. The poppies were stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends.
I definitely recommend this set for your collection which you can use alone or with the coordinating dies – the Painted Labels Dies, which I used in yesterday’s post. You can also use it in combination with the Peaceful Moments Bundle – the stamp has some nice greetings and the dies give the poppies a different dimension.
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie
