Today’s card is simple and quick using the Lots of Lavender Sale-A-Bration stamp for the focal point. I have a couple of lavender plants in my garden and love the fragrance as I pass by or touch them. And don’t get me started with the lavender soap – love it. It all started when I visited a lavender farm several years ago in the San Juan Islands – so beautiful. Yeah, so getting this set was a no brainer for me.
The Lots of Lavender stamp is a 2 step stamp set so that means you stamp the base image and then stamp the fill in image and you get instant color. If you like to color, then just stamp the base image and color in the flowers & leaves. Whichever way you want to give it color – it will make an easy card.
For this card, I used the 2 step stamping, the Birthday Blooms for the sentiment and the Touches of Texture (one of my favs) for the lacy border to complete it. I added some Baker’s Twine and done!
