Happy Wishes

Hello Friends!

Sale-A-Bration is almost over but you still have a chance to take advantage of it. Let me show you a couple of of Sale-A-Bration products you may have missed that I used to create this card.

Happy Wishes

To begin with, I used the Happy Wishes as my focal point and embossed it in gold. I wanted to make a quick card so instead of coloring each of the flowers, I sponged the sentiment with Powder Pink ink after I embossed it to give it some color.

The patterned paper in the background is the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper which is mostly silver with a bit of gold. You can find this paper in the 2nd release brochure. I really like this paper, it’s thick and it’s elegant. You can color it but I chose to leave it as is. I used the Rose Garden Thinlits for the gold leaf and then used the cut out pieces from the leaf in the bottom corner to balance it. It’s all mounted on a Powder Pink cardstock for the base.

There you have it, quick, easy and elegant. Don’t you think?
