Stylized Birthday

I haven’t posted a lot since June 2017, so I have a lot of catching up to do in showing you the cards I’ve created since then. Some will have retired products that you may have already and some will be current. Sometimes everyday life doesn’t allow you to do everything, (don’t you wish you could?) but I’ve learned that’s okay. You just need to let go of some things and concentrate on what matters the most and to me that’s investing in my family and leaving behind a legacy that involves a love for God and His work and a love for the growing family He’s blessed me with.

Though I love spending time with my family, I also need a little time alone to create because it energizes me and brings me pleasure when I can make cards for my family and friends and share with you. Doesn’t it feel good when you can just carve out a little time for yourself and do something creative?

So for today’s card, it’s a birthday card I made back in June using the Music Sheet background stamp. The Stylized Birthday stamp is a nice script stamp that creates a wonderful focal point.

To make this card, all I did was stamp the music image on Island Indigo and Garden Green cardstock, stamp the sentiment in the middle – all with Archival Black and then stamped the balloon with Lemon Lime Twist and Island Indigo and popped it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Now you have a quick and simple card ready to make someone happy when they receive it.
