Today’s card was made with several stamp sets – Moon Baby for the inside sentiment, bunny and teddy bear, Hardwood for the crib and dresser, and 3 retired stamps – Zoo Babies for the zebra and giraffe, Baby We’ve Grown for “Sweet Baby”, and A Slice of Life for the pjs.
I made this card for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower wanting to create the crib and dresser as close in color and design to the one she was getting for the baby. The card folds nicely as the crib bends to one side. Because I didn’t want to take away from the ‘nursery’ look of the card, I adhered a piece of card stock to the back of the card and wrote my note to her. I love it when you’re able to create exactly what you had in mind. Don’t the drawers look like you can just pull them out with the knob? So many things you can create with paper!
The card is a little larger than my usual cards so I created an envelope with the envelope punch board.
