The Merriest Wishes Shaker Card is a simple yet elegant card, don’t you think? Just in case you overlooked this stamp set along with the Merry Tags Framelits, you can find it on page 21 of the Holiday Catalog.
The Merriest Wishes sentiment is stamped in Soft Sky and Cherry Cobbler ink, but that was totally unintentional although I like the the way it turned out with the shadow the Soft Sky creates. I didn’t mean to stamp it with Soft Sky but once I did, I stamped over it with Cherry Cobbler just eyeballing it without my Stamp-a-ma-jig tool. I missed but loved my ‘mistake’! Don’t you love it when a ‘mistake’ turns out better than what you intended?
Shaker Ornament Details
- stamped the image on the Cherry Cobbler cardstock and die cut with the Merry Tags Framelits;
- stamped the inside shaker image with Cherry Cobbler ink onto Whisper White cardstock; then die cut with the Layering Circle Framelits
- Die cut a window sheet circle; adhered window sheet circle to the Cherry Cobbler ornament die cut with Fast Fuse Adhesive
- Adhered a Foam Adhesive Strip on top of window sheet circle edge
- Fill circle well with Gold Mica Flakes (as much as desired)
- Remove liner from Adhesive strip and place stamped Whisper White cardstock on top
- Adhered shaker ornament to card base with 2 Stampin’ Dimensionals
