While I was making samples for my open house this past Friday, I created a card with a big jar (to post soon) and thought how cool it would be to make a small jar full of the M & M’s with the small circle image in the Jar of Love set. I took out the M&M bag I bought for the class to check the M&M colors, except that I kept eating them without checking the colors. By the time I got to my desk to get my ink pads out, I had to get more – love those Crispy M&Ms – actually I also love the plain, peanuts, almonds and pretzel ones! I thought the sentiment was an appropriate one for my happy jar.
I should’ve stamped the orange with Pumpkin Pie but I had already stamped one in Tangerine Tango before I checked . . . that’s close enough. I used my white gel pen to write the ‘m’ on the circles. I used the same circles for the background using VersaMark and stamped the burlap image behind the jar. I also should’ve added lots more candy in the jar than I did, after all who eats only 7 of them? These jars are quick to make with the Everyday Jar Framelits. The Jar of Love is a fun set to get and one of my favs. Check out all the images.
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . .Brunie
