Wow, I haven’t posted since May 1 – things were mega CRAZY last week! May is full of family birthdays all throughout the month, add Mother’s Day – which means making gifts and cards. Then add unexpected trips to hospitals for both moms and you have craziness! Hope you had a great Mother’s Day. I had a wonderful day celebrating with family – thanks to my sweet daughter-in-law who opened her home for all of us (19 people) to gather and prepared a delicious brunch! Things have settled a little so here I am back to a post I started last week.
There are many things to do with punches and one of them is punch art, like this caterpillar. Isn’t he cute? Okay, so I actually created this card back in August 2014 that never got posted. I saw this type of caterpillar somewhere online but don’t remember where, sorry. I thought it was time to post especially since the Sassy Salutations stamp is retiring. Don’t want you to miss out on that.
I popped some of the circles with Stampin’ Dimensionals and used the feet from the owl builder punch. The white dot in the caterpillar’s eyes were made with the uniball gel pen, which I forgot to list in the supplies. Also forgot to mention the Work of Art stamp for the dots in the inside. I was very pleased with adding the Polka Dot embossing folder which coordinated so well with the circle punch art. Don’t you think?
Thanks for stopping by . . . have a blessed day. . .Brunie
