World of Dreams is the featured stamp in today’s card and is one that’s on the retiring list. Just as yesterday’s card, I made these 2 cards last year but hadn’t posted them.
For the card above, I used the Window Framelits which retired last year and used the masking technique. I also used the Decorative Hearts stencil (on the current retiring list). This stamp set has several images, but for some reason, I always gravitated towards these cute love birds.
For the card above, I used the faux layer technique (one of my favs). I stamped the tree from Sheltering Tree to anchor my bird branch. Noticed I also used Lost Lagoon cardstock on both cards. I LOVE and will miss this retiring color. There was a color (Baja Breeze) a little lighter than Lost Lagoon that retired several years and I still miss it. It’s funny, I still have a couple of packs of this color and use it sparingly because I don’t want to deplete my stash. I think I need to make some home decor project so I can enjoy looking at the color.
