Apple Of My Eye

Hi There!

Today’s card features a fun fold using the stamp set Apple of My Eye. If you missed this set in the catalog, it’s towards the end of the Occasions catalog on page 47. I love the vibrant colors on this card. I added Crystal Effects to the cherries and apple images to give it a shiny look.

I cased this fun fold from Patty Bennett made easy with the 2″ circle punch.

  • Cut your cardstock at 4-1/4″ x 11″. Place your cardstock horizontally on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and score at 4-1/4″ and 8-1/2″
  • Fold your cardstock to create a trifold card
  • Adhere your front layers  – top one is 2-1/4″ x 4″ and the bottom is 4″ x 4″
  • Center your 2″ circle punch right over the 1st score line (smaller section) as far in as it goes and punch
  • Open card and adhere your 2″ circle you punched right over opening – making sure top portion of circle has a slight tiny gap to make it easy to open and close without getting stuck
  • 1-3/4″ circle punch for the sentiment circle layer
  • 4″ x 4″ whisper white cardstock for inside layer
