Spring is finally here although it doesn’t feel like it here and there’s a threat of some snow accumulation, nevertheless, it’s here and warm weather is just around the corner. I saw a Spring display at the mall the other day and that was the inspiration for this card. I couldn’t wait to make a card with a spring theme and chose to make flowers that resemble the dogwood blossoms I love.
Card Details
- Leaves from Floral Wings stamped with Old Olive and I darkened the branch with the Early Espresso marker
- Punched Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla flowers from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, added detail to the center of the flowers and sponged edges with So Saffron ink and adhered flowers to branches with glue dots

- Punched a Very Vanilla and Blushing Bride scallop oval and cut them in half and then adhered one section from each color and sponged around the oval with So Saffron ink
- Stamped ‘Spring’ with Hello Honey ink and punched with large oval punch
- Added some Silver Metallic thread behind the sentiment and adhered the oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals
