It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve posted anything. Here’s why . . . I had hand/wrist surgery last week after dealing with pain and cortisone shots in my right hand for some time. I decided it was time to fix it. The downside of it is that I need to keep my hand elevated for two weeks which means I can’t stamp! I can’t really type either, but I type a little and then take lots of breaks in between to elevate and relieve my hand–that just means it takes me twice as long to type a post!
In the next couple of days, I’ll share with you a few cards I made that weren’t posted yet.
Today’s card uses the Love is Kindness and Painted Petals stamps. I used the Painted Petals flowers on the side to create my background paper. I like the look of the tulips wrapped in newsprint – do you? As I mentioned in this post, I removed the sentiment that was next to the image so I can add whatever sentiment I wanted.
Here’s another card with the Love is Kindness stamp. For this card, I stamped the tulip in VersaMark Ink to create the background and also stamped the tulips on the top and added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
Which one do you like better? Leave me a comment below.
Both of these stamps are almost gone when the Occasions catalog expires on June 2 along with the retiring items in the 2014-15 Annual Catalog, but there is still time to purchase your favorite retiring items. Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie
