Today’s card is a clean and simple one that you can whip up in no time. I used The Open Sea stamp set for the images and the Blooming With Kindness for the sentiment. I love black and white cards – I think they look elegant. What do you think?
If you would like to make this card, here are the measurements:
- Card base is Whisper White 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4″ and folded.
- Basic Black cardstock strip is 5-1/2″ x 1-7/8″
- Two Whisper White squares are 1-5/8″ x 1-5/8″ and the Whisper White cardstock with the boat was cut at 1-7/8″ x 1-5/8″
- Adhere the stamped images onto the Basic Black cardstock and adhere the entire layer onto the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp whatever sentiment you like.
It’s almost here! On April 21 Stampin’ Up! will release the retired list of items that will no longer be available when the new Annual Catalog comes out in June 2015. This means that if there are any items in the catalog that you’ve been waiting to get and they go on the retired list, you should get them right away since items are available while supplies last. In years past, retired items went faaaaaasst! Start making your wishlist and when the list comes out, you’ll be ready.
