Hope you had a great day yesterday. I had a wonderful Easter Sunday going to church and then celebrating with family. Isn’t it great to gather with family and create special memories? Love them!
For this card, I combined a couple of stamps together – Time to Celebrate (an Occasions Catalog hostess set), Perfect Pennants (for the sentiment) and Gorgeous Grunge (for the image on the bottom left corner). The balloons were colored with the blender pens and the sentiment with Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler markers. I love the sentiment on this card – isn’t it so true?
The hot air balloon image reminds me of my experience last summer. The balloon I was in was not as pretty as the balloons on my card. I thought I was going to be riding on a beautiful colorful balloon instead I got an image of a skull – yuk! But the experience was fantastic! Here I am back on the ground next to the basket. See the openings on the basket? That’s how we climb in. There were 6 of us in the basket – no real space to move – but hey, who wants to be moving around in a basket high up under the clouds, over the trees. Staying put is okay with me.
