Here’s a cool technique you may not have heard of before – the Velveteen Technique. Stamp your base image with White Craft ink, then using medium and neutral color inks, stamp your image and as you do, you will see the white ink come through for a nice effect. In this card, I used the Flowering Flourishes stamp as my base, so if you look closely you can see the swirls coming through the Flower Shop & Petite Petals flowers. If you use a darker color for your top image, you will see the white ink come through even more. Isn’t it cool?
