Truly Grateful

We made this card at my technique club using the Truly Grateful Stamp set with the masking/painter’s tape technique.  I like the background look you get with this technique.  You probably have some painter’s tape lying around from one of your painting projects at home.  Ink up the tape, place it on the paper and remove and you get an instant background effect. You’ll get a different look each time you do it.

Just a tip . . . you will get two different looks with the new and old Stampin’ Up! pads as your tape will absorb more ink with the new ink pads.  Notice my top and bottom colors – they were done with old ink pads and the middle with new inkpads.  Whether you have old or new – the effect is still worth trying.

Till next time . . . happy stamping!
